One problem. He does not shoot pass or dribble better then any wing in this draft.

Ace, Carter Bryant, Liam McNeely, Hugo Gonzalez, Drake Powell. Are you claiming that the extremely low usage, Carter Bryant is a better passer and ball handler?

Then Wolf? 100% Is this is local kid makes good thing?

Do you have anything on film or statistics to support this opinion?

Carter Bryant did no self-creation. He scored off-cuts and spot 3s. He had an AST% of 8.3.

Local kid thing? I think Wolf is a better passer and ball handler than Bryant right now, given each player's statistical profile. How often is the player with an AST% of 8.3 a better passer than the one with a 22.8%?

I dont see him as a fit at all. I worry about his defense/athleticism also

Based on that he is a plodding athlete that plays like he is wearing concrete shoes.

Again, literally every single mock draft I've seen has him picked in the top 7. All of them. But sure, pass on him at 12! Guy is a guru after all!

Sure. He isnt going to make the dunk contest anytime soon, but hes an NBA athlete. I dont need every player to make the all defensive team. He will always be in the right position, willing to battle on every play and will put his body on the line. We saw it with Huerter, he was a 15/3/3 guy hitting close to 40% of his 3s, playing good D and had the 2nd best +/- on the team right behind Giddey during the resurgence. That is a valuable thing to have on any team.

I'm asking, what does being a local kid have to do with what I said? I don't think it's too difficult to prove Wolf is a better passer and ball handler than Bryant.

Do you have anything that supports Bryant being the better passer and ball handler?

You want Kevin Huerter 2.0?

You know who doesn't believe he is a good athlete. Kon Kneupel. Thats why he didn't do the drills.

You know who wil be gone LONG before 12? Kon Knueppel. Also whats wrong with Huerter?? Is it a bad thing to get a really good starting player in the draft? Do you not think 40% from 3 on 15+ ppg in valuable? Are you someone only drafting if they have any chance of one day winning a league MVP?

It would explain why you think so highly of a fringe 1st rounder.

Yep, some mocks now have him as high as #2. We will see come draft day, but he doesn't seem to have hurt his stock by missing the combine.

I don't know why you're saying I think highly of Wolf when I don't think I've said anything that couldn't be supported by film or statistics.

One of my top-4 guys for our range I still like that doesn't get discussed much is Nique Clifford

Ringer has him 12th on their big board.

He's a great rebounder for a guard - does seem like more high-level glue guy than a potential breakout star, but that would be a valuable pick at 12 in my opinion.

19 points 9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last year with a 60% TS%, 28% Usage, and 1.72:1 assist to turnover ratio

Measured and performed really well at the combine testing too.

Why are you obsessed with Carter Bryant? Its not the GOTCHA! moment you think it is. Let it go.

Guys like Asa Newell, Essengue, and Carter Bryant more on the other side as they are decent athletes that could be good to great basketball players.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
