-Cavs get: Patrick Williams, Kevin Huerter, Ousmane Dieng, Dalen Terry, 12th via Bulls, 24th via Thunder, '26 frp via Thunder from Jazz, '26, '28 and '30 unprotected firsts via Bulls
-Bulls get: Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, Ajay Mitchell and Dillon Jones
-Thunder gets: Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade
Why?
-Cavs get a great package for Mitchell. Williams and Huerter have some upside, Dieng is a nice prospect, and the pick package could be very helpful moving forward. We also save $31.8M.
-Bulls get a superstar for a reasonable price, and a 3pt specialist veteran in Strus. Mitchell and Jones are added to give the Thunder some cap flexibility.
-Thunder get a defensive specialist on a team friendly deal and a stretch big.

Re: Cavs, Bulls and Thunder
Not particularly interested in dismantling a contender. The Thunder never do this.

Isaac Okoro is not a defensive specialist. He's just bad on offense.

I just can't anymore with this. The Cavs are not trading Spida for Patrick Williams.

OKC - Would prefer for a more sure thing to break into our rotation.
At least consolidate into 1 bench player rather than 2 .

Re: Cavs, Bulls and Thunder
Bulls are too far away from being a contender even with Mitchell so giving up this much isn’t a good idea for them.(picks wise)
Fan Logic - Doesn’t shot 3’s = No good

So the Cavs trade two starters, including an All-NBA guy, and don't even get a starter in return?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Cavs, Bulls and Thunder
DOn't see why Thunder would give up any value for what they are getting back. And Patrick Williams is awful

Re: Cavs, Bulls and Thunder
As great as Mitchell is, didn't he have 71 against the Bulls in OT? Gotta say no
They give up 2 picks and are even more front court short and MORE back court overloaded. Still need to trade Vucevic
Mitchell Struss
White Dosunmu Carter Mitchell
Vucevic Collins Smith
Buzelis Phillips
Giddey No #12
and I sure doubt CLE thinks they're better off with the 4 they get

Re: Cavs, Bulls and Thunder
If you're trading Mitchell (or Garland) there needs to at least be a legitimate established starter coming back. Two fringe starters isn't going to cut it.
Plus your use of 'has upside' is very liberal, you're talking about guys that are entering their 6th and 8th season respectively without any kind of consistent build in their performance to date.
Why does OKC want either one of the guys you just made them buy?
