The Suns gain 4 high upside picks to set up their future including one of VJ/Bailey to kick off their rebuild. The Suns eye the 2027 offseason, where every non-rookie contract except Jalen Green comes off the books at the same time, chasing FAs to put around their young core of #4, #10 in 2025, and 3 1sts in 2026 and 2027. There is also a rumored Michigan State connection with Ishbia and Bridges. O'Neale's 3 year contract is shedded here as well.

The Hornets make a concerted effort to compete now, sending picks and two-year contracts to the Suns for the perfect fit between LaMelo and Miller. Booker is locked down for another 3 years, giving more than enough time to find a new starting PF to complete a Melo/Booker/Miller/__/Williams starting 5.
