Maybe he’s a veteran voice for all the young players in Portland :dontknow:

I'm shocked Blazers would move away from Simons. I guess they don't wanna pay him what he's worth next year.

Ummmm if the Blazers wanted Holiday why didn't they just keep him in the Lillard trade?

Wow! I thought it would take 2 #1's to move Holiday!!

Boston saves $4.8 for 2025-26. And Simons is expiring too!

Blazers should have gotten at least one first in the trade. They let the Celtics off the hook.

Portland should have gotten at least one first round pick. And given up no picks.

Sneaky steal of a trade for the Celtics. Two seconds AND a flyer on a guy to trade later, let expire, or re-sign. GOT OUT OF $100 MIL ON AN OLD INJURED PLAYER.

Now, they deal Zinger for a decent player and a first this year or next. They still have White and Brown (who will put up great stats next year with no Tatum), and a weak East. They've retooled, stocked the chest a little, and cleaned house a bit for Tatum.

crazier plan - do all that, and then also trade White for two firsts to a contender, and also Brown for four firsts or three and two swaps kind of deal. Absolute tear-down for Tatum's second half.

He's not that good. He's not an efficient scorer and has been the worst defender in POR since Lillard went to MIL. Simons is waaaayyy overpaid!

Small sample size I know, but POR was 28-42 (.400) with Simons in the lineup and 8-4 (.667) when he sat. :o
