CHA/PHX/BRK - 8 picks, 0 players

Post#1 » by HornetJail » Tue Jun 24, 2025 11:33 pm

Charlotte trades #4, 2026 1st (worst of MEM/ORL/PHX/WAS), 2026 2nd (better of DEN/GSW) for #8, #10
Phoenix trades #10 for #19, #22, #36, 2026 1st (worst of MEM/ORL/PHX/WAS), 2026 2nd (better of DEN/GSW)
Brooklyn trades #8, #19, #22, #36 for #4

Hornets moves down for two bites at the apple and build some depth on this team. Possible rotation: Melo/Kasparas/Miller/Bridges/Mark + Mann/NSJ/Okogie/CMB/Moussa

Suns break down the pick they got out of KD into 5 assets in hopes of diversifying their lineup and building a base of young talent over the next two drafts. Not the worst idea for a team that is blowing it up and will have a ton of roster spots to fill on the cheap. The future 1st rounder coming back is likely Orlando's, in the early 20s.

Nets cobble together several of their picks to move up. Pretty much a no-brainer when you have 6 top 36 picks. BRK would now have 4, 26, and 27 in this draft.

Nets making out too well. Charlotte making out too poorly. Suns is probably fine on value, but they should just take one good player rather than take 4 shots at worse players.

I don't get it for Phoenix, at all.

Just make it easy. #4/Filler for #8/Cam Johnson/#19 or #26

This is a little insane for BK to move up only 4 picks they have to send 4 1sts? I am unsure if they would do this. I think it might be more like #8, #19, #26, #36 for 4 and that is pushing it to the limit. In most drafts #8 + #19 and #36 would get you to #4 but they throw in #26 as well in this scenario which is a no brainer for CHA to rebuild super fast around the 2 guys they decide to focus on.

Yeah, suns aren’t trading 10 and a future first for a bunch of late round picks this year. If 10 gets them cam, the late Nets firsts and a future super protected first (like the one they are trading in the op) Suns can talk.
