Dallas Gets: RJ Barrett
Raps get: Kevin Huerter, Caleb Martin, Olivier Maxence-Prosper
Bulls Get: Klay Thompson
Dallas gets a guy who can help with some of the ball handling creating for others at the cost of 3 guys they really don't need to open up more roster spots. He's overpaid, but serves a purpose. Tor moves on from a Massai mistake in RJ, gets an expiring in Huerter who can space the floor for a team that lacks shooting. They take on an extra year of Caleb, but he's been a solid vet to have. They can test the waters on OMax if needed. Chi takes on the extra year for a better player. Klay can be the leader of a group of young guys with his winning experience and ability to open up the floor for Giddey, Essengua, and Buz

Re: Mavs-Raps-Bulls
I see no reason for Chicago to take on an extra year of Klay.
I don't think much of RJ, but they get nothing here.
I want no part of RJ. I know you want to bring in only players from Duke at the moment, but he is not the answer to the Mavs offensive needs.
Sorry don't like this one for anyone. Value is too good for Dallas at the other teams expense, but I still have no interest.

I can accept the deal may be too good for Dallas, but no obsession with Duke, just think RJ is the more gettable guy for a skillset the team lacks, while undoing some of Nico mistakes in one swoop.

Re: Mavs-Raps-Bulls
The Bulls would rather have Huerter, not as good a shooter but a better all around player at this point, as an expiring and resigned for less
See how TOR, once they have a new GM, sends Barrett to the Bulls

Yeah.. I would take RJ out of desperation but the other teams shouldn’t do this.
