Why haven't the Warriors made any win now moves? Who should they target?
They have a solid core of Butler, Curry, Green signed to 2026-27 but the depth behind them is nothing compared to other top contenders. They still all have all their 1st round draft picks except in 2030, where pick 21-30 would be moved. So why not more urgency in trying to get another ring? Curry is 37, Butler is about to be 36, and Green is 35. It really feels like their best chance is going to be next season with this group.

What is it that they were going to do? They made the win-now move with Butler, they just unfortunately weren't healthy in the playoffs.
Moses Moody, Kuminga, Hield, Podz and scraps only command so much interest around the league, so what did you think they could swing for?

Stephen Curry $59.6M
Jimmy Butler $54.1M
Dray Green $25.9M
the salary cap is $154.7M. tax is at $187.9M. so depending on how you want to set the limit, they have $15-$45M to spend on the entire roster after those three guys. not saying they cant or wont do anything but they dont have the flexibility to do a whole lot.

They are old, washed up. Capped out on assets, salary cap, etc.
They're way overdue on their rebuilding process. Should've started that already a couple of years ago.
Free Curry (will retire in a few years) . To a contender or back home to North Carolina, play with young rising Charlotte Hornets. Be a mentor

Just get Dame Lillard. So much wily, veteran-ness on one team, it's bound to be entertaining.

Waiting for the Kuminga situation to resolve first I suppose. I'd imagine they've got a few moves up their sleeves left.
Sidenote, if they can walk away with Devin Carter for Kuminga that would be a huge win.

Just saw that they may sign Horford! What's the highest average age for a team? They should go for the record. See if Lebron and Chris Paul will come on over.

I think they were linked to Al Horford, who I think is cooked, but even if he isn’t totally cooked he’s not someone that will really move the needle for the Warriors.

Horford was still pretty damn good last year with KP's weird injury keeping him out the line-up. A front court pairing with Draymond is an amazing fit despite how old they are.

For real a lineup of Curry, Lillard, Butler, Green and Horford is very good. Old, but supremely talented. Making it to the post-season healthy would be the only issue here. Just sign a bunch of young cheap guys to eat up minutes.

He was also viciously hunted every time he was on defense. I’m not high on him TBH.

Wha?? You're talking the '26-27 season?
That's a long way away and Horford looks about 80% cooked today. Who knows where he and the rest of them are gonna be a year from now.

That's fair, but there's a big difference in being tasked as the main anchor downlow or having to chase PFs vs having someone like Draymond next to you. At the very least it gives Kerr a playable big as oppose to going to his micro-sized line-ups with Jimmy and Green in the front court.

Yes, if he doesn't rehab well, Lillard isn't going to be doing anything. I'm just thinking if he does come back and look okay by the playoffs, could be fun.
But age and injury don't make it look hopeful. This is all just fun, fantasy, NBA2k stuff currently.

Something about Al Horford and Dray being teammates is odd to me. Al to the Lakers is my guess.

Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis may need bigger roles?
Are they future All-Stars?
