A teammate fell into Doncic's legs and knocked him to the floor during the third quarter of the game. The Slovenia star was favoring his right leg after the play. Doncic limped to the locker room but appears to have avoided serious injury.
The Lakers star was spotted sitting on the bench with his teammates later in the second half. According to Slovenian media, Doncic asked to go back into the game, but the team chose to be cautious with their star player.
Doncic recently signed a three-year extension worth a projected $160.8 million. That deal will see Doncic under contract through 2028-29, with a player option for the 2028-29 season.
