Offense: Feed Gasol inside, make Beer collapse, then kick it out to Dražen or Sheed open shots. Use pick-and-rolls with Payton to get driving lanes, and let Butler go at whoever he wants. Keep everyone spaced so they can’t clog the paint.

Defense: Chandler’s on Shaq all day, rotate Gasol and Sheed to help. Payton and Butler lock down Penny and Jrue, Posey switches on the wings. Make Reggie and Herb work for every shot and grab every rebound.

Overall: Play smart, move the ball, hit your shots, and don’t let Shaq dominate. If you stick to this, you can win.

On offense, Shaq and Penny are joined by the perimeter gravity of Miller. Pau and Chandler are not good answers to Shaq, who should dominate.

Shaq/Pau-Chandler, Horford/Wallace, Miller/Petrovic, Jones/Butler, and Penny/Payton is pretty solid. The Chandler/Gasol combo will allow 48 minutes of Shaq/Zo rim protection.

Both benches are pretty darn good. Without a great answer, Shaq is the best player and the difference in this one.
