2010s Draft - R1 - Fifii vs Snakebites*

Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

PG: Kyle Lowry 18-19 11.4 FGA- All Star
SG: Victor Oladipo 17-18 17.9 FGA- All NBA 3rd, All Defensive 1st
SF: Jimmy Butler 17-18 15.6 FGA All NBA 2nd, All Defensive 2nd
PF: Dirk Nowitzki 10-11 16.2 FGA- FMVP, All NBA 2nd
C: Marc Gasol 12-13 10.9 FGA- All NBA 2nd, DPOY

B: Patrick Beverly 18-19 6.1 FGA
B: PJ Tucker 17-18 5.4 FGA
B: Matt Bonner 12-13 3.4 FGA

Gasol (38)/Bonner (10)
Dirk (38)/Tucker (10)
Butler (38)/Tucker (10)
Oladipo (38)/Beverley (10)
Lowry (38)/Beverley (10)

Alrighty. This team has All-Stars at every position, and has Dirk Nowitzki- comfortably the best and most clutch scorer in the series, surrounded by All Defensive level talent.

I think that Dirk/Butler/Gasol was an unimpeachable foundation that fit perfectly, and that the top tier backcourt of Dipo and Lowry was simply the icing on this cake. My bench is rick solid too, with Beverley, Bonner, and Tucker all being high end role players who spread the floor effectively.

I think that CP/Dwight/Blake is a foundation that is also very solid, but that the group around them leaves some to be desired both in fit and overall talent.

Lowry is the weakness defender on his rotations so I targeting him by my guards especially by Jamal Crawford. Rookie Bam Adebayo play always when Booner plays. No offense, but Lowry is knowing from choke in PO. His bench is ultra defense, in my I have Mike Miller who is good 3-point shooter and some minutes with bench squad play Jamal who can play iso so I guess my offense power is better than him defense. I dominate the glass, playing on two twins. Both Howard and Roy are very good rim protector so no easy layups. Tucker is decent three point shooter, this same sentence I can write about Lowry. I have POA defender in two positions (Chris and Tony). Only Jamal Crawford is a weak defender in my starting lineup, but I can hide him on Tucker staying in the corner. Tony Allen as a glue guy in his the best player on the court.

My strategy in offense is plays P&r Paul with centers and p&p with Blake. Mike Miller running off the screen sets by my centers. Jamal Crawford sometimes plays iso ball on Lowry. Roy play in the post vs smaller Tucker. Bonner can’t guard Howard one on one or Roy.
