Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown said on a recent livestream that his team has entered a "new era". Brown referenced the roster changes, while wishing his former teammates well.
"It's a new era of the Celtics...Half the team is gone. I wish them the best. I appreciate them. They were great teammates, so it's kind of sad to see them go," Brown said. "But it’s a new era. Everything has kind of changed and shifted."
The Boston Celtics traded Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis this offseason. Luke Kornet and J.D Davison signed with other teams. Al Horford and Torrey Craig remain unsigned free agents. In addition, Boston is expected to play most, if not all, of next season with Jayson Tatum. The Celtics superstar is recovering from a torn Achilles' that was suffered in during the playoffs.
