Very generous of Shams to refer to his time in Toronto as productive.

This place is insufferable.

Was this a minimum?

Yes, and not guaranteed, either

Bet it's a favor to Octagon and Achiuwa's agent. Could've easily left that word out of the tweet

Call me crazy, but I think the Knicks made a mistake not brining him back. He’s a service back of the rotation minutes eater. He played playoff minutes in 2024 and solid minutes as a backup in 2025

For a team relying on Mitchell Robinson to stay healthy, he was a good depth piece.

The Knicks chose Yabusele over Achiuwa, which makes sense. Otherwise, they just don’t have the apron space to bring him back, even on a non gtd vet minimum.

They could have brought him back instead of Shamet or Brogdon.

I'm thinking of Precious more as Mitch security, which they have Hukporti in that role.

Sure. They felt like they were weaker at the 1? We’re probably going to see a lot of Bridges, Hart, OG, Yabu all playing up a position or so this year? Small ball 5?

Makes sense.
Hart and Yabu proved they can handle the spot minutes at C, while only having McBride to cover for the most important player in the team might not be enough
