The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to hire Craig Albernaz as manager. The Orioles had a disappointing 75-87 record last season after winning the AL East in 2023 and then being a Wild Card team in 2024.
Albernaz was a bullpen and catching coach for four seasons with the Giants beginning in 2020.
Albernaz was also a finalist for the Cleveland Guardians\' opening after Terry Francona retired. Albernaz previously turned down offers from the Chicago White Sox and Miami Marlins.
