Lenny Wilkens Draft - Play in - Mr Ringer vs Dr Positivity

Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

GL Mr Ringer

Defensive matchups: Russell on Gasol, Lewis on Towns, Marion on Magic, Price on Roy, Drexler on Pippen

He has a lot of talent but our starting 5 all of whom are all-stars work better together. Russell and Marion should be a fantastic fit with the speed the Celtics played at and Russell's ability to get rebounds and make outlet passes to his running, along with Drexler in transition. Price can play off the ball with Drexler. Magic and Roy are not a great fit both because Roy is ball dominant pick and roll player who played on slow paced halfcourt teams, in addition Pippen is not great shooter beside them, leaving Towns his only great 3pt shooter in the starting lineup.

While we have a shaky matchup in Price on Roy, he also has defensive issues with two average defending guards and KAT in his starting lineup, if he he plays straight up the Price and Drexler combo will have favorable defensive matchups, if he puts Roy on Marion and KAT on Lewis or something I still think that can cause him issues in both cases. Russell also covers a lot of our issues.

I believe I have the stronger depth, this isn't one of Schrempf's best seasons (15ppg 32% 3pt) making the gap between him and Gallo the year he got traded for Melo (15ppg, 35% 3pt and 47% in the playoffs) smaller than it was in other seasons, enough that having Cheeks makes the bigger difference especially in this matchup where he can help me on D. Hawks Thabo also had an average season and shot 32% from 3.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Magic Johnson 85' - 11.6
Brandon Roy 09' - 16.9
Scottie Pippen 00' - 10.5
Karl Anthony Towns 24' - 15.3
Marc Gasol 13' - 10.9
Thabo Sefolosha 15' - 4.8
Craig Ehlo 89' - 6.4
Detlef Schrempf 94' - 11.1

87.5/88

Magic 38\Roy 10
Roy 24\Ehlo 18\Sefolosha 6
Scottie 10\Detlef 27\Sefolosha 11
KAT 24\Scottie 24
Gasol 35\KAT 13

Defensive assignments: Magic on Price, Scottie on Clyde, Roy on Lewis, Gasol on Marion, KAT on Russell

My defense is weel suited for this challenge. With most of the match-up lacking a versatility in creation. I have Scottie to put Clyde in Jail Blazers and DPOY Gasol to close the paint.

Out on offense my team is just unstoppable. Between Magic as the best playmaker ever and all the tools around him. Roy and KAT are both great main scorers, KAT is proven to improve himself next to a prolific guard and that will happen here as well.
Scottie and Gasol are just great offensive minds and creators, and it's absurd that this level of players are just 4th or 5th option. Creation all around.

My bench is completing me a DEEP roster, with Detlef, Ehlo and Thabo to upgrade my defense and complete my perfect offense.
Based on balance and chemistry.
