This is very surprising. He's been a pretty nice player for your team thus far and though he fell out of George Karl's doghouse at times, he showed some great flashes.

I think this isn't a good move... he's just the type of swingman you guys need (bench and/or starting, eventually) and have lacked for a little bit.

Hopefully you guys can get back involved with him later on. I really like him as a young complementary player that's athletic, mature, and smart.

Diawara needs to get his 3PTer down :)

That he has a total douche bag of a coach that doesn't like young players (unless they hang out with him in his son's apartment), so instead of making the better move in replacing his coach.. he did that "easy" thing and cut Jones.

He did have it down. When he was getting minutes in November, he was hitting them. So to reward that good play, Karl benched him for Chucky. A player who can't hit the three and can't play defense.

Oh, well, I didn't know that about Diawara... that's nice to know in his development. Becuase I like Diawara as well, being a big athletic wing-defender, and especially for what you guys need. Not having that shot down was holding him back - but shouldn't be anymore really, in that case.

Chucky can definitely hit the three, he just has to get his legs and rhythm under him first. Remember these have been his first actual games recently, so it's like pre-season for him, and coming off injury. He should be reliable a bit later on in the season. I don't think Chucky's minutes should effect Diawara's.

Yeah, Yak hit on 46% of his three's in November.

Chucky though, he doesn't look healthy when he is playing, especially on D. Unless he really is slow and unable to move well.

If that's the case, JR would be better to have out there. He hits threes at a higher rate than Chucky.

Well yeah, Chucky isn't where he probably will be yet. Too early to expect that with what his situation's been.

Maybe they ought to just trade all the guys that are redundant at SG (since Ai takes all the SG minutes, all of them), and trade for some serviceable bigs with outside shots. Then we can have Carter, AI, Melo, and a bunch of bigs. At least if our bigs go down AI can still work.

Yak was hitting his tres, Bobby was playing defense, JR was making progress - ...they're all coming back healthy, but where's the depth?

There's got to be something brewing...

part of the problem is gk has too much job security with Kroenke and Bearup heavily on his side, and almost no other coaches with any reputation or experience really interested in coming here.

Honestly, how the **** do they expect me to continue following this team? I hate the GMs, I hate the coach, and I just want to start fresh. Jesus christ.

At least it's not a 11-71 team? At least it's not the Heat....I mean we have Iverson's contract but at least we can afford Nene to go along with it.

All these negative things are out there, but the team is still 21-13. For me, I'm just hoping the down games aren't the norm - when they make it to the playoffs, as long as they are able to compete, it's gonna be a good year. This crew - GM, coach, players, just need to learn how adjust mid-stride and use their assets.
