tmac takes over the big apple

Post#1 » by thaAteam » Tue Jan 8, 2008 3:01 pm

houston trades
tmac
luis scola

ny trades
jamal crawford
zach randolph
2nd round pick

houston gets
2nd
crawford
randolph

ny gets
tmac
scola

why for houston
the team would be more complete, both zbo and yao can work inside and out so they would compliment eachother very well, crawford would be the scorer, slasher on the wing.

why for new york.
curry and randolph cant play together so scola is a player who is tough around and away from the basket, and tmac brings a tough cover on the wing that can always explode and will command a double team, thoughts?

Z-Bo and Yao

The one thing a good post scorer does not need.....is another post scorer.

Not to mention that is not even close to enough return for McGrady.

they both hav a midrange game in yao and zbo, also when yao is out they have no low post scoring or slashers and zbo would handle that, it might not be enough trade wise for tmac but he doesnt has the hightest stock right now either

The only reason TMac's stock is low is because of injuries.

If the Rockets were to even think about trading McGardy, they would want expiring deals, young talent and picks. And you have none of that in your offer.

The Knicks are not going to get him with Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford, who have terrible contracts, and do not make Houston better in the least.

If the Knicks seriously want McGrady, they'd better pony up that 2008 1st round pick.

That is truly a terrible offer. Just terrible.

There is nothing ont he KNicks that the Rockets would want. If you want to dream, it had better start with David Lee to even get any serious responses, and it would NOT include the promising Scola back to NY....
