Randolph to Chicago

Post#1 » by theman » Fri Jan 11, 2008 7:38 pm

I saw this morning that there is a rumored Randolph to Milwaukee deal which makes little sense to me. So I was thinking what team needs low post scoring and the answer is obvious, Chicago.

Now a deal including Nocioni would make the most sense but he is BYC so it does not work.

Would it make sense, especially for Chicago to trade Ben Wallace to NYC for Zack Randolph? For the Knicks, Wallace could play PF with Curry at Center. I am sure Chicago would prefer to pair Randolph with Wallace but would Joe Smith, Ben Gordon and Khryapa or Duhon work for both sides?

Pretty much has been discussed ad nauseum already but yeah, Wallace for Randolph has some merit to both teams. I think if Randolph's contract was the same length as Wallaces that it would be a lot more pleasant for everyone.

No... Randolph will never wind up with the Bulls, never.

If the Bulls wanted Randolph, PJ Brown and his expiring deal would have been dealt for him

No no. We thought that him moving from Portland would kill any Randolph to Chicago trades. Sadly, we were mistaken. I am sure that 6 weeks after he is traded to the Saskatchewan Eskimos, we will see a Saskatchewan - Chicago trade thread.
