He obviously is when given that role.

Now we have 2 elite scorers on the team. Yay.

We need to get a decent return on Redd right now.....before this team craps out entirely......

There has to be a team that wants Redd for an extended playoff push...

I've been saying it for a while. This team is better off keeping Mo and getting a big return for Redd. Let him go a week or two weeks putting up 27+ ppg, and then move him for all you can get.

Mo is the best player on this team anyway.

Yup, Mo is the damn scoring man. lf only we could get one damn big to step up on the offensive end. Maybe a decent rebounder.

Yeah, he also has really bad defense feet. Johnny Mac always talks about how some players have good feet on offense and some have good feet on defense. Mo is so quick up and down the court offensively but he doesn

How about "when he becomes an elite scorer?"

Elite scorers are the ones that sell tickets because they are that good.

Very good scorers are the guys that can score 25-30 when given the chances.

Mo is a very good scorer.

The thing that so frustrates me with Mo is the guy obviously cares about the team and winning. He's out there lately 42-48 minutes per game and he doesn't ever just dog it or quit, but he often doesn't move his feet defensively and other times runs around looking lost on defense.

Like everyone else, i believe a sizable part of defense is effort. It also is a skill though and Mo has terrible recognition as a defender. Good defenders not only hustle, they learn and anticipate well what the man they are guarding is about to attempt to do. Even when Mo is hustling and trying hard on defense, he to often still gets burned because he strikes me as an instinctually challenged defender.

I agree with both statements. Mo obviously cares a great deal and Mo does indeed struggle at the D end of the court.

I would have to say that Mo can get the job done just as good as Redd. It would be the right time to trade him. Mo moves the ball as well. Once he gets it he doesnt look to shoot all the time like Redd.

Mo's last ten games:

22.4
7.1
3.2
2.4 stls
2.6 TOs
.493 FG%
.400 3PT

The steals are the most impressive. Baron Davis ranks second in the league at 2.3 per game. Mo has really been thieving lately.

The steals are suprizing, that is the way he should play. He has the speed and quickness to create problems here an there.

That doesn't make Mo an elite shooter. Redd sure isn't.
