Report:Nene to undergo surgery...

On Jan 11, Nene took an indefinite leave of absence from the Nuggets on Friday to take care of a personal medical issue.

the Brazilian espn reported that he's undergoing surgery on Tuesday. still not disclosing what the issue is though.

karl was talking 'life and death' in the last press conference in regards to nene, and anthony carter said he was on the verge of tears when told of the news. so apparently its something serious, but nobody knows what.

From the Denver mod. Best wishes to Nene and his family, hopefully it's not life threatening and he pulls through.

Apparently the whole Nuggets team commented on Nene and they sounded very depressed. Anthony Carter was almost in tears. Someone on the Bulls board was saying there are rumblings that it could be cancer-related. It's really messed up.

I hope Nene is okay... I hope after this he learns to take care of himself better.

If the guy was looking afte himself better he would totally be a beast.
