Atlanta's looking for a PG

Post#1 » by tbhawksfan » Sat Jan 19, 2008 11:52 am

We can trade: Shelden/Zaza/Lue/AJ/Lo

For the right deal we might even move one of our young core guys.

Personally I'd say the hawks core is:
JJ, Smith, Marvin and Horford.

I'd trade anyone else for a young starter quality PG (think devin Harris). Sadly there aren't too many in the league like that.

pity the rest of the team isn't worth too much, especially since you dont have your 08 1st...

I think that Jamaal Tinsley could be a gamble worth the risk for ATL. He's a good player just needs a change of scenery. Could prob get him for Lue + Lo Wright

Chill might be solid trade bait also.

Shelden won't get us much at all. His stats aren't high. If Woody would actually play him so he could contribute his trade value would go up.

How about Jack and Miles for Sheldon Williams and Claxton?

How many pt. guards do you guys need? I mean you already have FOUR...planning on a super-duper small ball lineup? If so, you need to try to get Nate Rob from the Knicks, cuz that guys has hops and could be a good rebounding power forward in your lillipution lineup...

The problem is that AJ is good, but he shouldn't be starting. He was brought in to be an insurance policy. Lue is a scorer. That is all he does it score. He doesn't like to pass. Law isn't ready to be pushed in as a starter.

Ty Lue + Lorenzen Wright + Anthony Johnson for Andre Miller.

All those Hawks players are in the last year of theirs contracts.

Nah, Calderon's value is through the roof right now.

A 25 year old point guard, who while starting is averaging soemthing like 15 and 9.5, with an unbelievable assist to turnover ratio.

Take Dooling and/or Arroyo. We really don't care about what we get in return at this point...

any way jose leaves in a deal to ATL is a deal for J.Smith or M.Williams. Anything else the Raps would turn down.

I think that's going a little too far...

^ Calderon as a starter is averaging 14 and 10 on this season. He's all-star worthy IMO, but will probably fal short.
