Artest Should Be Our #1 Target Next Offseason (MLE)

Post#1 » by One Love » Sun Jan 20, 2008 7:46 pm

I hate to jump the gun but given his commitment to opting out (article below) and the fact Sacramento is not a viable trading partner with us given our history, we should make him our #1 offseason target... The general consensus is he will sign for the MLE (5 years)... We would be the best defensive team in the league, period... LO would be our fourth option... Bynum will blow up... We would be a LEGIT championship contender for years... PJ could control Artest and he would welcome the LA vibe... Our lineup would be as follows:

PG: D Fish (6'2") & Farmar
SG: KB24 (6'6") & ______
SF: Artest (6'7") & Ariza
PF: LO (6'10") & Turiaf
C: Bynum (7'1") & Mihm

While predicting what Artest will do next is a futile task in any forum, he continued to speak about potential free agency in ways few players
