Boston Receives: Ben Gordon
Chicago Receives: Tony Allen, Glenn Davis, Brian Scalabrine

Why for Boston: They shed Scal's contract and get an upgrade at backup PG/SG. Glenn Davis is nice, but he could easily be replaced with a PJ Brown signing.

PG - Rajon Rondo/Ben Gordon
SG - Ray Allen/Ben Gordon
SF - Paul Pierce/James Posey
PF - Kevin Garnett/PJ Brown
C - Kendrick Perkins/PJ Brown

Why for Chicago: They QUICKLY solve their problem of inside scoring as Big Baby has shown his polished low post game. Tony Allen also provides some backup PG/SG depth.

PG - Kirk Hinrich/Chris Duhon
SG - Thabo Sefolosha/Tony Allen
SF - Luol Deng/Tyrus Thomas
PF - Glenn Davis/Joe Smith
C - Ben Wallace/Joakim Noah

IMO Ben Gordon's overrated, not what we need, but we could get a good deal for him in a sign and trade in the offseason....which could make the trade a potentially viable option. But it just doesn't strike me as the right thing to do, and I don't think it sits all too well with the Bulls either, as TA is still considered something of a question mark.

No, we have Eddie House, we don't need Gordon. House 2.0 is not worth losing Davis and Tony.

cmon, Ben Gordon is a huge improvement over Eddie House. the guy has carried the bulls offense for the last few years.

i do this trade, if only because gordon is a proven 20ppg type scorer (i think the skiles system slowed his production) who would be a great complement to our big 3. for instance, if ray or paul goes out, we can bring in gordon and not really miss a beat offensively.

OTOH, i think the bulls would laugh at you for this. remember when the bulls were trying to trade gordon for pierce? that was stupidly unfair in the other direction, but this trade is almost as bad in our favor.

Wow we would do that deal in a millisecond, listen i like big baby, but he is gonna be a good sub, I like tony Allen, but he is inconsistent and scal has negative trade value, If we had Ben Gorden off the bench as a 6th man wiht posey as a 7th we would be much better then we are with TA Scal and Baby, no way the bulls do this, we do it so fast you cant say veal

I agree Bulls never do it.

I would just assume try to get Chris Duhon.

I wouldn't do it.
Gordon can't play a lick of defense.
