MO SHOULD HAVE COMPLAINED

Mo Should Have Complained.....

Very rarely are fouls called in a tie game with 2 seconds left. Perhaps because we are the lowly Sixers did it happen. Right are wrong Mo should have jumped off the bench and supported our players. At least they would have felt some coach support.

Some of you will say well a technical could have been called. I can't believe a ref would have called a technical at that moment.

The foul did happen but it was the kind refs do not make a call in a tie game at home with 2 seconds left. Tha ref that actually made the call was not in the best position to see it. This is my opinion.

If it was a foul ... it was a foul ...

If the referees called it, and it was a foul, why complain ?

The referees got it right.

Now, if they hadn't called it ... that would be something for the coach (the other coach) to complain about.

Let's not get to the point where it is considered a mistake to not complain about a correct call.

This is probably the 1st time I have ever agreed with Dond.

Iggy just made a bad decision there. He should just get a hand up and try to force a tough shot if the guy makes it then you lose. You can't foul there and give them the game on free throws.

Hopefully, Cheeks talked to all the young players about it after the game so they don't repeat that same mistake in similar end of game situations.

It was clearly a foul and a VERY easy call for the ref to make because if Iggy had got all ball then the ball would have been hit straight down to the floor. But since Iggy hacked Hedo the ball flew out to Hedo's right and NOT straight down. It was good call by the refs and a bad defensive play that lost us the game.

If you watch the tape again I would have complained about what Dwight did after he got the ball. He definitely traveled with time left on the clock. I guess they just let it go.

It was a tough NBA call...I only saw the last few minutes, and was unpacking, but if I remember correctly, the ball went down and to the side...didn't fly straight up in the air which would indicate he got all wrist/arm (basic physics). It looked like he got mostly ball, but on the follow through got a good bit of the left hand as well. We've all seen more contact go without a whistle, but he did make contact, HT did play it up pretty well, and the whistle was blown. 2 seconds left in an NBA game, that whistle is probably silent 50% of the time, but we can't complain too much. Tough luck.
