Send em...do you know the rumors involving Iguodala
Jasner referred to rumors involving Phoenix and Toronto being interested in Iguodala...I haven't seen anything else, and thought you may know more.

I'm sure teams are INTERESTED, but unless it's offering either Amare or Bosh, I'm not interested in trading Iguodala to those teams.

I honestly don't see Iguodala going anywhere. I think he's made too much progress this season to be traded. The big knock on Iguodala was his jumper and he's really improved it. It might look a little unorthodox with the high arc, but it definitely has improved. He's also improved his handle. Like I said before, the one issue I have with him is that he lacks a quick first step. However, I don't think he needs to be our go-to-guy on offense so it really doesn't bother me that much. So long as we start designing plays for Thaddeus, Williams, our future PF, Carney, Sam, etc. I don't think Iguodala needs to shoulder the scoring load. Truth be told, I don't want one player shouldering the load because I think this team is most effective when we're mixing it up on offense.
If we get a player like Okafor or Josh Smith, does Iguodala really need to be our version of Dwayne Wade or Kobe? I don't think so. Think of how effective a lineup of Williams, Iguodala, Thaddeus, Josh Smith, and Sam could be. Does that lineup really need a go-to-guy? Smith is known for his scoring mentality. Ditto for Williams when he's given the green light by Mo. Thaddeus "the Smooth" is shooting 60% from the field and should only improve as we design plays for him. The kids only 20 years old and he's already shown major potential on both ends of the court. And even Sam on occasion, has shown the ability to get his whether they be from put-backs, dunks, or the midrange.

Toronto could make it work, but I'm not sure that Phoenix has enough outside of Atlanta's pick if it ends up in the lottery. Diaw is probably expendable, but he's tough to match up salaries.
This one works $$ wise...but I don't think I do it.

I wouldn't call that *dating* but something is going on there. Either way, this is way too reminiscent of the Ricky/Dalembert thing.
There are a couple of givens that will happen in every thread.
1. SendEm will talk about how Iguodala is worse than last week's garbage.
2. IggytheBEaST will post a fantastical trade and that talk down to everyone who doesn't like it AKA EVERYONE.
3. I will hop aboard a bandwagon for a player that I want us to trade for this summer and then before the thread is done with... I will be off of that bandwagon and onto somebody new.

Don't like this one, but if you throw in Atlanta's #1, it's about the best I could come up with.

I have asked people in a position to know about speculation of interest from Phoenix and Toronto in Andre Iguodala
I hardly call "speculation of interest" a rumor. If someone asked Ed Stefanski what he thinks of Kobe Bryant as a player and Ed says, "Kobe is a great player that is playing at a really high level who is making his teammates better"... well, isn't that a speculation of interest?
As dabods said, I'm sure these teams are interested... in fact, I bet there are 29 GMS with a speculation of interest in him but that doesn't mean that they put an offer in or even made a phone call about him.
