Salary Question

If we cut 7 million in salary, for example by dealing Willie Green and Reggie Evans, Would we have enough to sign a max free agent? Is there a thread to ask for this? I was just curious, because i have been told we still wont, which I don't believe.

I believe we are currently projected to have around $10MIL in cap space so this would bump us up to $17MIL. $17MIL is definitely enough to max out any of the restricted free agents plus Arenas. While I don't believe $17MIL would be enough to "max out" Marion or Brand, I do think it's enough cap space if we wanted to make a serious offer there way and be in the running for them.

As said before, I don't believe we'll use our cap space to sign a free agent but instead use it in a trade.
