He's definitely had a very nice season thus far and it's nice to see him in the ASG again. All I'm hoping is that Roy outplays him. :)

Umm.. .I never liked him. Any player who tosses
a basketball at the back of their teammates head
at full force then points & laughs at him deserves
no respect from me. Oh & thats not even counting
what he did to Arvy.. .Rasheed is a classless moron.

i am almost certain that if he was still with the blazers, you would still like him.

^ Well the first one Odd was referring to was reported by Quick a few years ago. Apparently Boumtje Boumtje was practicing FTs after practicing and Sheed picks up a ball and from the other end of the court threw it at him and hitting him in the head.

The second one was in the POs against the lakers. I think it was 2001, the Blazers were melting down and during a TO Sheed took his towel and threw it right in Sabonis' face.

Again, I never liked him in the first place so no
I wouldnt still like him. I never liked Wells either.

When I say he has no class, just look at the way
he acts and has acted in the past. Hes a loud mouth
that has disrespected his own teammates and other
players from different teams.. .

Feel free to like him. In no way am I saying you shouldnt.
Im just stating my view on why I think hes a moron.. .

Edit: Breaker has it correct. Also Wells was with
Rasheed & they both laughed at Boumtje Boumtje.

Rasheed has always maintained great respect and high regard from his teammates and coaches throughout his professional and amateur career. However, he hasn't done much to win over people like Jason Quick and for that, I give Rasheed extra credit. People other than me, like Mr. Odd, are influenced by Quick's opinions. I understand why Mr. Odd is influenced by Quick but I think it

Well, Mr. Odd that isn't too bad an average, we have contrary opinions of Rasheed but agree on Quick. I don't agree Rasheed is a moron because I only know him as a basketball player and as such, he is brilliant. I'll bet Arvydas and Boumtje x2 would agree.

Oh, Rasheed has a world of talent, no doubt!!
But like you say, I dont know him personally,
my opinion is all from what I have seen and
hear from people that I know or the media.. .
I think the way he acts calls for the rank of a
moron. That has nothing to do with my view
of him as a basketball player, in that area he
can flat out get it done & probably can be even
better if he really wanted to.. .Even with that
said, I still think hes a moron, lol. Anyway I
think ive beaten this topic to death enough.. .

To me, the only reason Sheed was chosen, was purely out of spite.. and a lack of bigmen in the East. Sheed was reported to have asked coaches not to vote him in as a reserve, so he could spend time with his family. And obviously, Sheed isn't David Stern's favorite by any stretch, so I can't imagine why he chose Sheed over someone like.. Illgauskas(sp?) or even Turkoglu other than to piss off Sheed.

Also, I don't see how it's a sign of disrespect that Sheed was laughing when he hit Boumtje in the head. I've never heard of any players complaining as Sheed as a teammate. That to me, was just him messing around and having some fun.

Also the Sabonis thing, i'd be pissed too. He poked him in the eye twice that game, cause Sabas kept flailing his arms, trying to get a charge.
