One Down... One to Go.

Post#1 » by etopn23 » Wed Feb 13, 2008 9:51 pm

Despite the fact that logically, we knew a trade would be coming... it's still a shock. Now that Kidd is gone, a Carter trade is inevitable.

The trade deadline is coming... what could we get for him? It'd be the ultimate irony if Carter went back to T-Dot. I'd want to see the Raptor's fans reactions to that.

Now that Kidd is gone, I say VC to the Clippers.

I dont know if this works but to Get rid of VC, I will take Maggette, Cassell, and Pick or switch picks.

We get Maggette (two years left if he picks up option), Cassell (buy him out so he can go to Boston), and a pick or switch picks.

Maybe, the picks would be the appealing part because the Clippers are going nowhere this year.

ET would def. want to be waived, and Maggette can fill up the seats/get the chance to be the primary option he always wanted to be. Hopefully he doesn't get injured his first game here.

I honestly thought the Nets were starting their yearly second half run.... i'm still in shock about this trade =(.

Yeah The Clips get VC to sell some tickets. Once Brand leaves he would be the center of that organization without getting any other big free agents.

I don't see the Clippers doing that deal, not with the picks involved.

Rumor is a Nets/Pacers deal has a 70% chance of happening.

Carter isn't going to get traded for anyone...especially O'Neal, his contract is a lot worst tan Vince and his health situation is horrible with 2 bad knees, front court is too over crowded as is

Return to Brooklyn Nets
