Nope, 20-11 would mean Denver and Houston do no better than 10-20, And portland do no better than 14 - 16

Completely unrealistic

No chance. I'm sorry, but it's over. Maybe if people were on last year's pace, but this year is just insanity.

Sad thing is 47 wins may actually be the bottom rung this year. Man, that is crazy ****!

A 13-2 home pace is a bit of a reach, even for Arco.

43-38

Not to be a d*ck but what happened to the 82nd game? I don't think anything less than 45 wins will get an 8th seed this year. Even if the Warriors go .500 in the remaining games (47 wins), sadly, it might not even be enough.

We dropped the ball and fell too much behind, we're not making the PO, and we should build all of our decisions regarding this deadline based on that.

What have I been saying since the summer? About us not making the playoffs, or having no shot...therefore..just concentrate on the draft pick?

We could screw ourselves over again this year, like last, when a few extra games we shouldn't, and screw ourselves out of a Horford/Conley/Yi/Noah/Wright type player. When your team is out of it...winning does NOTHING

Regardless of 30 wins or 20 wins, the team sucks, and that's all that people think about

Yeah because players are robots and developing a winning mentality does nothing.

Well if it's our young guys leading us to victory that experience is immensely positive. If it's guys that are only here for a short time and have no place with us moving forward with those young players firmly planted ass first on the bench, then yes, it really does mean nothing.

RIght now should be about transitioning the focus to those players that will actually BE HERE beyond the next 2 months.

I don't buy that at all. First off, a lineup of Beno/Martin/Salmons/Shelden/Hawes won't win anything. Secondly, it's about having a winning mentality. If you absolutely suck, I don't believe there is as good of a chance of that existing. But if the young players are contributing (not necessarily leading), then they can feel like they are part of a team that plays good team basketball, which boosts morale (which is important even if it doesn't show up on paper), and it gives the team tutor-like situations. We see this with Brad and Spencer, we saw it Doug and Kevin in his rookie year, and we have seen it with Brad an many of our wing players at one time or another.

I see your point, but develop a winning attitude, the gut that team of the "winning pieces"? If they have a major role than fine. I don't think we need to necessarily dump our vets right now just to make room for the young guys but they certainly should be given major minutes.

There may be a possibility for seemless transition here, but if Theus plays Ron at PF, or a 4 gaurd lineup while Hawes/Shelden rot on the bench or split 8 minute sessions I am going to be pissed. No matter how you slice it, that only hinders the development of these young guys.

I would blame that more on the Moore signing than anything. The fact is that we'd be a better team without him in many ways. On the same token, Mikki is a good veteran presence and you can't sign guys that expect to play and bench them because you've suddenly decided that you would rather give your young guys time than try to win.

No but they should expect that as a possibility. They had their chance, didn't get it done, now let somebody else have a shot.

But when the team starts to lose more when the younger guys play, then it becomes clear that the teams goal at the very moment isn't to win, and that can hurt a team mentally. It's one thing to trade away your best players--it's another to bench them.
