Cedric Ceballos Arrested in Blyth Yesterday

Post#1 » by Mr. Sun » Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:26 pm

Cedric Ceballos, a former Phoenix Suns player, and current employee, was arrested Sunday when police contacted him at a Blythe, CA gas station, police said.

Blythe police booked Ceballos, 39, into Riverside County Jail on a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department warrant for driving on a suspended license, police said.

Ceballos, also a disc jockey for a Nevada radio station, was released the same day on nearly $26,000 bail, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Police said the gas station clerk called officers when he tried to use an invalid credit card to pay for gas.

A hearing is scheduled March 18 in Blythe.

He is free on bail, so i am pretty sure he'll be the PA until a verdict is passed.

Wonder why his license was suspended, and why he was trying to use a bogus credit card if he can afford $26k in bail?

I'm surprised the clerk called the cops because Ced was a Lakers player for awhile. I guess the clerk must not have been a hoops fan.

Yeah, sounds kinda fishy. I can't believe the bond on driving on a suspended license was $26,000.

I went to traffic school for a ticket and the they didn't report I went, they suspended my license for like 5 years before I found out. When I got pulled over, they just gave me a ticket and sent me on my way. Makes me wonder if he made a scene!

LOL, I am glad the story reads "ex-Sun" instead of "Ex-Laker"

probably on his way to Lake Havasu...
