Draft Picks Insanity

Post#1 » by bigdavid » Tue Feb 19, 2008 6:21 pm

Why do we continue to talk about trading away our top players for draft picks? We already have a number of young players who do not even get playing time. If we were to get lottery picks maybe it would make some sense, but every bad team wants a lottery protected clause.

How many 15 to 25 picks become stars? Why give up miller or Daly for a late first round pick? Lets keep our good players they are hard to replace.

Where have you heard this??? Stop reading the "Fantasy Trade" stuff because I believe a large majority of posters on THIS board would not trade Miller or Dalembert for just expirings and mid-round picks.

bigdavid... I'm pretty sure that I'm most active person on this board (or at least within the top 3) and there are very few people who write that sort of thing anymore.

Maybe I'm wrong and a majority of the people here want to ditch Miller and Sam for expirings and a pick but if I am, I would think they would write in this thread and defend their point of view.

So far it's just me, you, and a bunch of crickets.
