Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

Fish don't fry in the kitchen;
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin',
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby,
There ain't nothin wrong with that.

Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

I liked it better when NO ONE thought the Lakers would even make the playoffs.

I love the underdog role and everything but when you have the best player in the league, the deepest team in the league and the best bench in the league we deserve to be were we are lol.

When was the last time you felt this good as a Laker fan, everything is falling into place for us.

^word, we don't need Johnny statistician to tell us we're number one.

*although to be fair to Holly, he did rank the Lakers consistently high throughout the season.

ESPN power rankings are pointless. Just like the regular season MVP award.

#1 doesn't mean anything, it's about the rings... just ask the NE Patriots....

Ok, time to show them we deserve to keep it.

Lakers, "Ehem! 6 in a row!"

8'sReverse, "Oh excuse me, I almost forgot."

Nah I meant the Patriots, you can say you're #1 in the rankings but at the end, if you don't win the big game, it sucks hard cuz people think you choked. which is easier to play off in the super bowl, harder in a 7 game series.
