This Jazz team always gives us hell especially when AK-47 plays. However, I'll still be pulling for us to get WIN#19 tonight

We need to play almost flawlessly tonight if we wanna win. The Jazz play ball SO by the book; its great to watch but frustrating to try and get a win against.

Hopefully by the next time we play these guys (Mar 28 in Utah), EB will be in the lineup! :)

Oh and, this is blatantly off-topic, but does anybody follow Daniel Ewing like they do James Singleton? It's been said on this board that James is signed with Tau Ceramica till 2009...does anyone know what Ewing's contract situation is with Khimki?

the word "yikes" pretty much sums up this weekend for the clippers. but anybody is beatable, especially coming off the all-star break. see detroit pistons.

I miss James. I was so pissed when the Clippers were going to "resign" Korolev and let Singleton go.

James was unhappy last season so we let him go. I was never a fan of Korolev, if we would have picked him in the 2nd round then I wouldn't have minded so much. We pretty much wasted a lottery pick.

Anyways I hope we put in a good effort and beat those Jazz.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

He signed a 2-year contract with them in July.

Yeah thats understandable since he didn't really get many minutes. I wish he did though. I really liked the energy he brought when he played.

Game tied up at 34 with just over 9 minutes to go in the 2nd. Dickau is in, so I'm assuming Sammy is out.

It's good to see Kaman having a nice start with 8 points (4-5 shooting) & 2 blocks. Maggette has 12 points so far. Sam is not playing, so BK got the start. Clippers are trailing by 4.

Nice tip-in by Thornton to pick up his 8th point and tie the game back up.

Chris gets away with a possible travel and heads to the line to shoot 2. He makes them both and gives us the 2 point lead. 40-38 Clippers with 6:04 left in the first half.

Cat picks up his 3rd foul and heads to the bench with 3 minutes left in the half. Kaman scrambles for a loose ball with Boozer and is called for the foul. On the previous possession Kaman had a tip in off a missed shot by Knight to score his 12th point. This is the Chris that I've missed.

Great to see that we're up 55-49. I see that Thornton didn't make that free throw to put us up 7. But I'm happy that we're up at the half.

Nice to see them rocking the number 12 in the stands. Clippers lead 55-49 at the half. Maggette continuing his stretch of inspiring play has 18 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3-Pt, 9-9 FT). Kaman has 12 points (5-6 shooting), 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and only 1 turnover. He has been struggling as of late so it's good to see him getting off to an early start. Thornton has added 10 points (shooting 50%), 2 boards and 2 steals off the bench. Thomas got the start this evening and is shooting 0-6 in 17 minutes of play. He has got to step it up. Hopefully Mobley can turn it on as well if he can stay out of foul trouble. I wouldn't have expected us to have the lead at the half but we are playing good. Keep it up Clips.

Wow! Clippers had hit 20 straight free-throws before Al missed his free-throw right before the end of the quarter.

Bingo! Maggette for 3 and the clippers take and 8 point lead.

Bingo!!! Thomas for 3 and he says you can't see me. Clippers by 11. Utah calls a time-out with 9:23 left in the 3rd because it's raining 3's in Southern California.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
