OT: Doug Christie

Can I say douche on this board? If you want to you can suspend me, but man, Doug Christie is the biggest douche in the world.

Doug Christie wrote a relationship book and now he has a radio show? I only know this because of the constant advertising on realgm, but it makes me want to run full speed into a wall while smashing plates over my head to even consider this.

I mean I understand Magic Johnson getting a talkshow because he was a great player and even an interesting personality. But Doug Christie was not only an average role-player he was also a big douche and guess what? He still is.

Remember when we drafted him and he was like "oh no, I forgot, I can't play for the Sonics." Then we asked him why and he said something like "'cause I'm a douche."

Can anyone think of a bigger douche in (or formerly in) the NBA than Doug Christie?

I think that Jackie Christie is the driving force behind a lot of the stuff you're saying about Doug Christie. That is not to say that I disagree with you.

You wrote douche too many times in that post. I liked the fact that he punched Rick Foxx...although that's pretty much the only thing I liked about him.

Side note that no one cares about: My dad played him a couple times in some pickup games years ago. My dad blocked one of his layups and the Christie proceded to light him up after that.
