Technically if you want to be nick picky it should say "the two are related through their marriages". then again thats basically the same thing.

Edit: fair enough, its not really a mistake, its redundancy, but thats what you were probably getting at. It could have been worded better to not be redundant.

I think its just crappy wording, what the writer meant to say was...

They are related through their seperate marriages. But that is his point.

I really don't see how you guys are getting caught up on redundancy yet are glossing over these two nuggets from the same article

LOL. These kinds of things happen in all kinds of publications these days, which is why I called it "Funny" rather than, say, "The Globe Sux Idiotically Again!"

Cassell was talking about Esther Day's shoot around. Ms. Day is a big basketball fan.
