I expect this game will go down to the last few minutes , hopefully the role players can get us there and T-Mac will get us the win in the end.

Dancing bunny says we win and extend our streak(s) and everyone rejoices. Amen.

I'm really worried about this game, I hate Dallas so much. DAMN YOU JASON TERRY, DAMN YOU

I would like to propose a new law for our board.

"In the event of the Rockets winning streak coming to an end, the poster responsible for the game thread for said game shall be banned from all future game threads until the Rockets win an NBA championship."

Maybe you should also remove your sig for the initial post. TMac never getting out of the first round is conflicting with the championship banners.

why is everyone mad at me?

i created the best thread and i'm getting flamed for it.

and besides the streak is ON the line, no denying it and i didn't write that we are going to win for sure, so i haven't jinxed any one yet.

I thought it would end in against NO in NO...but we had Yao then. Our full team. So it didn't surprise me that we won. But its gonna end tonight and it was great and we set a team record. You would think things are even with no Dirk and it may be. But Dirk isn't a guy that normally kills us. Its Howard, and Terry and Stackhouse. If we are gonna win McGrady has to put on his best Kobe impression. He has to do it early and do it late and do it all night. They things I saw Kobe do to the Dallas defense on Sunday there isn't another player in the world that can do that. Splitting triples teams...comeon now.

So with that said I just don't know about Mac tonight. Anyway I do hope we keep it competitive and at least give ourselves a chance in the end b/c they haven't been good late in games. We can't turn it over and we have to get back defensively b/c without Dirk they will have some problems scoring in the halfcourt. Keep Ericka off the boards and we'll have our chance. In the end though them playing at home with a multitude of Rocket killers in their lineup will win through.

This is a win-able game. We need to take advantage of Scola and Landry inside, while Dirk is out. Im expecting McGrady to score at least 30.

This could be a HUGE game for the Rockets if we can get a victory in Dallas! With a victory tonight, we'll have a nice 3 game cushion over Dallas in the conference standings and that would be SWEET!!! Dirk isnt usually the one who hurts us, but thats because we lock him down! Now all that energy and defensive intensity we use to take Nowitzki out of the game is gonna go towards preventing Stack, Howard, or Terry from having a huge game against us. Rafer has been B.O.C. lately but hes gonna have to have a big game on both ends of the floor. Kidd knocked down four 3s in the 4th against Utah the other night. We cant afford to let that happen.

Keys to the Game:

1.) Continue to play hard on both ends of the floor.
2.) Ball control. We cant afford turnovers leading to Dallas fast break points.
3.) Points in the Paint... Dallas has no defensive prescence down low. We need to attack the basket at will and also Scola and Landry need to continue to provide the low post offense that we're missing from Yao being hurt.

If we can do those things, I see us winning a tight game. I'll even go out on a limb here and say we win by 10+.

LETS GO ROCKETS!!!
