Nuggets/Spurs 3/10/08

Post#1 » by Ballings7 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 5:36 am

Interesting game

- Nuggets coming off a serious, serious loss to the Jazz
- Spurs coming off the loss yesterday
- 2nd of BTB for Spurs, at home

I don't really have a prediction.

Go Spurs :)

I'm not too sure how this game will pan out. Rest assured Parker is going to be out to settle a score against Iverson. Hopefully Kurt Thomas gets some decent minutes to help out on the boards, God knows we'll need it.
I'd really like Stoudamire to show something in this game. It'd be great to have an offensively capable backup, and I have an affinity with undersized players ;P
Most importantly Tim needs to break out of his slump and against Denver it would be huge.

Our offense has looked really out of sync the last couple of games. Be nice to get it going again at home.

Haha, do we have secret employees stashed in Dub city as well?

I'd like for the Spurs dominate this game but the first half has been a bit even with teh slight edge to Denver. Hopefully teh Spurs come out on fire this second half. Gino with 10 assists is pretty sweet. He and parker struggled early on but made a few shots towards the end of the half.

wow... way too close to have Denver around..

Who is the PG? Parker with 2 AST or Ginobli with 12 AST?

*just took it off mute from the start of the 2nd half*

Carmelo's lucky he didn't get ejected, as none of the refs saw him slam down that black container

Nice! Pretty big win there...

Kurt Thomas with his best game as a Spur. Strong game in defending and making his shots. Especially down the stretch.

Tony, Manu, Bruce, Tim also were very key - I'd guess that hip for Manu was something minor and will be fine by next game.

Manu with a career-high 14 assists

Glad to see Bonner have a nice game, even got a driving dunk down the middle of the lane in the 1st half

Finley played better than the last 3 games

TD was MVPish tonight... Great night from Manu and Thomas seems to have found his niche..

Solid win...

Anyways WTF... Houston with 19 in a row?

^ I love how Dikembe's stepped up again, not quite at the level of last year for Yao so far... but still getting it done, and in his last season...

Mutombo is just incredible (not just as a player, too)

Honestly they shouldn't be blowing out teams.... it is amazing. Honestly they are playing at a unbelievable level right now. Hell they are the best team in the NBA right now.

Very tough win last night. Some horrible reffing against both sides, first they let them play physical then they call ticky tack fouls. Make up your damn minds ref. Anyways Kurt Thomas was HUGe in this game. As for Timmy. It was awesome when Martin got away with hacking the crap outta Duncan then Timmy got all fired up and went right at him. That's the fire we have been lacking. We actually cared about winning last night, was good to see.

Yeah i agree though this seaosn is unlike any season we've been involved in, we have to play hard every night. One thing i notcied last night was how many minutes Parker was played, it seemed like he was playing the entire game.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
