when the trade was made for the big three i thought we had almost as good of chance of making the same trades.
essentialy it was green and jefferson and an expiring and two first for kg
imo cv and bogut=jefferson and green the onyl thing we didn't have was the expiring.
and the #5 and expiring for allen when we had the #6
and we could have let mo and bell go and not signed mas and vosh.
which could ahve been enough to soak up kg or allens contract making the expiring irrelevant.
so besides an large exopiring contract somewhere which we could ahve added a third party we could have redd, allen, and kg.
just a thought i know expiring play ahuge role and we dont live in a big market, but we could have potentially been very close to being a 50 win team already and not a 23 win team.
KOHL WOULD HAVE NIXED THEM ANYWAYS.
have you ever thought?

Jefferson was seen as a much higher ceiling project than either CV or Bogut. You can't really put two players of lesser value together to try and equal the value of one higher value guy.
And, as mentioned, Pierce is a significantly better player than Michael Redd in nearly all facets of the game, not to mention better defensively. You'd be playing either Redd or Allen significantly out of position at small forward, especially on D.
Granted, the team would still be very good, but not as good as that C's team. The Bucks team with KG would only have on good defender (KG), while the Celtics have four in their starting five (especially Rondo and Perkins).

i think redd and pierce are equal, peirce is fair on D and is a better iso player but michael has more atleticism and is a better off ball player.
they don't have 4 good defenders. our lineup would be:
ievy=similar player in a lost of areas to rondo.
allen=im assuming hes the one your not considering good luke.
redd=pierce small advantage
?we would have had to sign one
KG
rondo and perkins are not good defenders average ill agree to, but good cmon
and if you asked people bofre the C's trade who would be a better player this season rondo or simmmons 99% would ahve said simmons.
KG leads the C's meaning strong play on both ends offense and defense
redd leads the bucks which mean shoot em up fellas
KG raises the intesity and defensive levels of those around them, so don't make it seem like rondo and perkins were household names before the season. there is no reason why KG with a supporting cast of redd and allen couldn't do the same for our bucks

Redd better off ball? How many times have you seen him create his own shot without the ball this season? 3? 2? 1? 0?
Ivey isn't even CLOSE to the player Rondo is. Rondo is better then him in EVERY category and has 20x more potential.
Pierce has a HUGE adavantage over Redd at the SF position. Pierce is a solid defender at SF. Redd is a horrible defender at any position.
? We would have to sign one? With what money? The MLE? Go that much more over the cap for a below average C? No thanks.
Rondo is a good man on man defender and a GREAT passing lane defender. Hes got arms longer then Markota couldve only prayed for. Perkins is a very good man defender too.
99% wouldve said Simmons? That is simply wrong. Not to mention, who cares about last year?
KGs leading the Celtics. Correct to the best record. Redds leading the Bucks to a top pick. Awesome?
KG does improve players but there is a thing called TALENT. Something which 50% of the Bucks players dont have enough to be in the NBA with
