Rockets @ Hornets [START OF A NEW STREAK]
i'm too depressed to make a good game thread right now after the loss.
i will update this thread tommorrow and try to make it look nice.
anyways, here's to the start of a new streak.
hopefully the rockets are pumped after getting the streak snapped and show no mercy.
btw if anyone has the wallpaper of the rockets where it says where 22 in a row happens please post it up i really want it.

Big time game. Everyone expects that when we lose..we lose a few in a row just b/c of the letdown factor of losing for the first time in a long time. Unfortunately in the West...you lose a few in a row and you go from 1st to 8th or even out of the playoffs altogether depending on how the other 8 or 9 teams do.
With that in mind...I want to see how we respond. When we get out there tonight...against another 40 win team with a great player on their home court how will we respond after losing for the first time in a long time. We know whats at stake. Maybe its too much to ask for a team that has played over its head since Yao went down to do it all over again. But I want to see how we play tonight and McGrady is too good of a player to be playing the way he has been in the last two games...I don't care what the defense is. Like Charles and Kenny said..for us to do anything he has to play like LeBron and carry us like LeBron carries the Cavs.
The streak did what it was supposed to do. It took us from 10th to 1st. We played for 1st on national TV on Sunday and got it. It ended on a high note now we need to focus on staying where we are.

what do you mean? we already beat them twice in a row (the other one without yao) we'll be fine as long as alston plays like jerry west again.

Start of a new streak, I only hope one thing is not lost, our confidence. We better play like we have during that streak, Tmac needs to start attacking, I dunno what happened to him, he started becoming to passive the last 2 games.

Chandler can't create his own shot without Paul giving him some crazy pass or alley-oop; or him grabbing an offensive rebound and tipping the ball back in. The guy has no jumper.
Presuming Landry is back, if you guys challenge him for the boards you will be fine. Stick Scola on him all night if you need to, as far as matching in height. That right there will pretty much stop him from doing whatever he usually does.
David West will probably be out for this one.

Yeah right, another lie, last time they said he will be back on Tuseday, the time before, he will be back Sunday, this will keep getting delayed, and when you know it, there just going to say we want him to get ready for the playoffs, so we will wait...typical piece of **** Rockets medical staff.
