who you got?
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Garnett is the better low-post player.

'Sheed's very skilled (moreso than most realize), but part of being good is going to the skill often enough to educate defenses well enough to start drawing doubles, etc.

'Sheed is too perimeter-oriented to be a really good low post player, even if he is quite skilled.

The skill separation between the two is negligible; Garnett's over-the-shoulder turnaround fade is about as money a shot as you'll find in the league, just as is 'Sheed's fade and both of them have good footwork and the ability to consistently get into the lane when they bother.

Garnett goes into the key off of his move a little more often but not enough so to make a difference, so the major difference is frequency of use.

You'll notice that 'Sheed has taken 752 FGA this year.

Of those, 388 of them have been from 15 feet and beyond (or about 52%).

He's taken 205 shots from the blocks and from the upper portions of the key, and then another 158 shots right at the rim.

Garnett, by contrast, has taken 833 FGA this year and has taken 302 of them from 15 feet and out (36.3%).

He's taken 233 shots in those three zones right around the rim but not point blank, so a similar number to 'Sheed but he's also taken 295 point blank shots (and you'll notice he's taken more shots in the upper regions of the key, generally because he makes a move into the paint for a hook shot more often). If you watch Boston, you'll know that this is partly because he's routinely on the left block and then sliding to the weakside to catch a pass when Pierce drives or following for tip-slams, etc.

Now, you can also look at the percentage of attempts that are "jumpers."

82games.com lists a "jumper" as generally any shot from about 8 feet and out or so, it's a little fuzzy but 'Sheed takes 84% of his attempts as jumpers to Garnett's 74%... which is still high but considerably lower; in short, he's closer to the rim a lot more often.

KG also has a +4.6% advantage in DrawF because he's aggressively seeking contact more often instead of passively taking jumpers.

So yeah, this one's definitely KG.
