Wiz @ Sonics

Post#1 » by DallasShalDune » Wed Mar 26, 2008 6:26 pm

The Washington Wizards @ the _________ Sonics!

Date: Today
Time: 10:00pm (EST)

Who is going to win??

Our 36-34 Bullets or those 17-54 Sonics
PG: Antonio Daniels :)
SG: DeShawn Stevenson :D
SF: Caron Butler, 2 Time All-star
PF: Antawn Jamison, 2 Time All-star
C: Brendan Haywood :wavefinger:
Honorable Mention: Gilbert Arenas... will he play? Probably not, looking at his latest blog entry ("I can tell you one thing: my return will not be on the road, it will be at home!" or something like that)

Or the green team?

PG: Scrub :-?
SG: Kevin Durant :P
SF: Scrub :-?
PF: Scrub :-?
C: Scrub :-?

Honorable Mention: N/A :-?

Matchup of the Night:
Caron Butler vs. Kevin Durant
Who is going to have a better overall game? My money's on Tough Juice, but I wouldn't be surprised if Durant outscores our All-Star. I would be surprised if he shot a better FG%, and had more rebounds, steals, or assists than Caron, however.

X-Factor(s) for our Wizards:
DeShawn Stevenson
We're going to need his D, as well as everyones for that matter, because we played putrid D against Portland last night. My money is on that we do play decent defense (against such a bad offensive team) and get a big win.

--------------------------

I predict a Win, by double digits. Caron game MVP, with Antawn playing well (50FG%, 10+ rebs, ect).

I was bored. Since JWIZ lost, and I don't think their are stipulations against me starting a new GT so soon since my last ones, and there isn't one up yet, I thought, "What the Hell." If I broke an unwritten rule, I'm sorry, and someone can feel free to lock this one up.

You have broken only one rule, thou shalt insert "The Great One" before JWiz's name. I take offense to thine poll.

Go Wiz.

Apologies, The Great One, JWizmentality.

But yes, go Wiz! We need a big win, thanks to last night's dissapointment, and if we don't get that win, I'll need a big hug. :(

Despite the opening post, the Sawnix have some very talented players - including 5 quality forwards - 1 they play at the 2 and 1 at C. With the Wiz playing backtobackers on the road and seemingly lethargic, they're more than capable of a collapse tonight. You really don't want to lose this, because the rest of the trip is probably much harder.

Oh I agree, Ruz. I was just making a joke. They could beat us with either atheticism or if their jump shots are hot tonight, but I think we'll reply with last nights embarassment with a strong win. We do that often. Granted, we're weak on the road, but the Sonics record shows that they are weak either way.

And for any visiting Sonic fans: I may be dissin' on you guys, but I know your on the right track by ridding yourselves of bad contracts and drafting well (so far). I hope you guys keep your team, because you guys have such a rich history there is Washington state.

C'mon people. The Sonics have lost 15 of their last 17 games. 10 of those losses were by double digits. With Sczcerbiak and K.Thomas gone, this should be the third-easiest game of the season. (The two easiest games of the season are the two Miami games sans Shaq and Wade.)

Game should be over by 3rd quarter. I'm looking forward to plenty of Young, Blatche, Pecherov and McGuire.

If we can't win against the Sonics, I can't believe we can win one game on the road!

Because we are blowing them out or because they are blowing us out? :-?

Neither would surprise me at this point.

I definetly mean getting blown out by the 3rd worst team in the NBA. Duh.

But seriously, neither would surprise you? Come on dude, considering all we've done this year through adversity, how in the world can you be so negative?

As expected, we're back in business tonight. We always come out strong after horrible losses.

Return to Washington Wizards
