Roy out 2 weeks

Post#1 » by Discovery69 » Thu Mar 27, 2008 2:03 am

Roy will be out for 2 weeks and said he is determined to be back for at least the last home game of the year.

I guess if the Blazers are at 41-39 at the last home game before they finish on the road. I could imagine Roy wanting to be out there to help the Blazers get a winning record.

Two weeks isn't much time for a groin injury. I hope the Blazers just sit him out for the year.

It all depends on what the doctors say. Arenas can attest to that. Knowing what we know about most groin injuries 2 weeks is usually too soon to play in an NBA game.

It's very noble of him though.

According to an article on NBA.com he's out for 4 games.
