We are playing great ball dating back to january, but come playoff time can we hang with Dallas/Nuggets/Spurs?

Maybe against the Mavs or Nuggets but I dont think so against the Spurs, Duncan, Parker and Manu will kill us.

we'll see how things go tomm. i think our bench is more youthful and better, and that could help vs the spurs.

Thats why this road trip is so important. If we go 4-1 on this trip I think we are in good shape to get the 1 or 2 seed in the conference and a chance at Denver or GS in the playoffs. Two teams I think we can play with. If we end with anything less than the 2 seed you are talking about maybe SA or NO in the first round. Or PHX even. Those are teams we can't beat without Yao IMO.

Its a good PO experience. I also think Adelman will shock us in PO with his genious coaching skillz.

Coaching comes into play when you have equal talent or close to equal talent and you need something to put you over the top. We won't have close to equal talent against anyone in the playoffs.

I have my concerns, almost every western team has size and that's the thing that's given us problems in our recent play without Yao. We are also a very streaky jump-shooting team and that could bite us in the playoffs where the style of play slows down.

Take it from me, a Kings fan. Adelman doesnt substitute players as good as other coaches. Players become fatigued, tend to injuries (ala Chris Weber) miss free throws near end of games especially if its a 7 game series. You better hope your 1st round ends in 5 or 6 games.
