Any news on the Lakers second round draft pick from last year. Sun. Is he playing any where. Any links to any stories on what he is doing.

They sent him back to China to develop, but we still have rights and can sign him in the off-season.

For some reason people around here thought he was gonna be awesome unless it was a running joke but I doubt he will play an nba game.

Oh! I thought this was going to be about a possible Lakers - Suns playoff matchup!

Anyways, Sun Yue played in the ABA with his Chinese team which played their homes games in Singapore. If anything, expect him to play with fellow NBA CNT teammates Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian in this summer's Olympics.

Other than that, I think the OC Register reported he will most likely be a Lakers next season. I took that as, he'll be at training camp but will be competing for a spot.
