But I still refuse to like Boris Diaw... ;)

Best of luck to the Suns in the playoffs from a Hawks' fan.

I am glad we can officially end the JJ trade. Enjoy the 15th pick. Probably end up with your future C or PG with that pick.

Its the suns luck is what got you guys into the playoffs. We are cursed with this type of stuff. Hey, good luck in the playoffs, and hopefully we can find a gem at the 15th spot.

I guess you can say that the Hawks won the trade since it ended up mid first rounder. But, at the time the trade was made, obtaining an unprotected lotto pick vs. than giving a guy a max contract when we weren't sure if he was worth it nor satisfied with his role on the team was a decision the majority would have made. It could have easily gone the other way, but you guys dodged a huge bullet last year. Either way though, we had to make the trade. We already had Nash, Marion and Amare's contract to worry about. With JJ we would have had 4 guys costing around 55+ million.

Like our team again? Why wouldn't you? Joe Johnson is lottery level talent now, we deserved a lotto pick. Unfortunately we didn't get one.

You guys forgot. The Hawks tanked the last 3rd of last year to put themselves in position for a high (top 3) lottery pick and lucked out. If not for their tanking the trade for us would've been great. It's all good, make something out of their pick this year.

The Hawks did not tank last year. They probably should have btu they didnt' and they had to get lucky in the end. After JJ went out for the season we procedeed to win four straight games.
