I know, I know. We are stuck with Opie. So just to agravate myself and everyone else, it looks like there is a good chance our boy Eddie Jordan will be available, along with the possibility of Mike D'Antoni.
Make it happen Rod.

Why would Eddie Jordan be available?
And please god not Mike D'Antoni... His whine factor is off the charts.
To add to your list though:
Paul Silas, Larry Brown, and Rick Carslile are still available. Once again I'm not sure I'd want any of them though... Before the Nets get a new coach they need to figure out the direction they want to head in.

Eddie Jordan has been mentioned as being on the block in a few aricles, I believe out of the DC area, especially if they get swept.
There are links to at least one of the articles on Hoopshype and I read at least one other one a couple days ago.
I don't get it either.

I'm seriously hoping this is a joke. I think it was, but I'm nor sure.
He is a whiner, and it is extremely annoying at times, but I would gladly sacrifice my ears for 10 minutes a game to get rid of Opie and bring in one of the most gifted offensive coachs around.

Uh.................................
Please stop it.
I would like to know what direction we are going in before deciding which one of these guys I would want, not if I wanted one of them.
Although I pass on Larry Brown unless Rod put together some ridiculous lineup, otherwise it isn't worth it for the alienation he puts the players, fans and FO through.[/b]

Jordan coached the Wizards into the playoffs despite their horrendous rash of injuries. Book it. There is absolutely no chance he gets fired this year. Hoopshype is garbage anyway...
As for D'Antoni... All he does is spoil players by teaching them exactly how NOT to play defense. His style of basketball won't win anything in this era.

Not from Hoopshype.
From the Washington Post.
I said this already.
People need to really invest in reading glasses, or learn to pay attention to entire posts, not just the parts they deem necisary.
Just speculative rumors from their writer anyway, all though they sound like they have some basis.
