You should have expected that !!! With 0.2 on the clock there was no way the Jazz could get anything except for a miraculous tip. Sloan probably drew up that play in the timeout. Throw it to the basket and let our Grammy Award Winner AK try to sabatoje another game!!! :banghead:

Not only does he flop, he screamed so loud hoping one of the refs could hear it.

I couldn't stop laughing at this video especially when they use slow motion.

Im seriously getting disgusted with the flopping... Are we the only team that does not do it? I think the league should quit rewarding liars, and take a stance like soccer where you get punished for it

That was a joke of a play from Kirilenko.

He was blocked by T-Mac and let out a big yelp.

He fouled Landry off the ball blatantly.

Back in the '90's, the Pacers were playing the Cavs in a really close game. The Pacers were down one with about three seconds left when Reggie put up a contested floater that was off target.

Dale Davis was under the basket with a Cav (I forget who), and when he saw that Reg's shot was off, and that the Cav had rebounding position, he basically shoved the Cav in to the first row, got the rebound and put it back in for the game winner.

After the game, he was asked about the play, and he basically said that "Oh, yeah, I shoved him. I figured I needed to get the rebound, and if they called it we'd lose, if they didn't we'd win. The only thing I knew for sure was that if I didn't get the rebound, we'd lose."

There's no such thing as winning with grace or losing with dignity. There's just winning and losing. As a relatively disinterested third party, my take is that Kirilenko looked pretty damned silly, but that he was basically trying anything he could do to win. It didn't work, but as Dale alluded to, it's not like the Jazz had a lot of scenarios that were going to get them the win there. I'm perfectly fine with players on the Pacers looking pretty damn silly if it means they are in it for the win.

Flopping is a mortal sin if perpetrated by an opponent, but smart basketball if done successfully by one of your guys.
I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

There's another couple good videos. My dad prefers watching WWE to the NBA these days - he says it's less rigged. At least 4 of the last 5 years I can remember watching at least one series and wondering "What the **** game are these refs watching and/or playing?!" It's almost as bad in the regular season sometimes too.

As far as flopping goes, I hate it as much as anyone else, but like Duiz said, take off your glasses. We flop a lot too (Hayes, Battier, Scola).

Edit:

To count:
Not really, I don't like it when our guys do it either. Charges are one thing (although it kinda drives me nuts at time when it seems like charges are our defensive focus), flopping at one or both ends is another.

Further side note:
Cheating goes back in sports since they started, at all levels. Hell, it goes back in just about all fields people operate in since history started. You make a new rule and people will just figure out how to bend it or work around it to their benefit. The only solutions are 1984 or a good punch in the nose. I prefer the latter myself, but it's kinda illegal, so 1984 it is. Damn.
Morey 2020.

A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
