the anti-ballhogging thread, AKA the Bobby Jackson thread..

Post#1 » by HarlemHeat37 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 5:25 am

I'm really getting tired of "chuckers" in the NBA, especially guys that SHOULDN'T even get so many attempts to ballhog and shoot so much..it's really starting to annoy me..

Bobby Jackson sparked this thread..this guy is shooting 28% for the series and 15% from 3's, yet he just keeps shooting and shooting..

does chucking and ballhogging annoy the rest of you as much as it annoys me? especially from scrub playerS?..

T-Mac is much much worse because of the volume of possession he takes for produce for his team.

Does anyone actually know why Rocket traded Mike James and Bonzi Wells for Bobby Jacksons? He only contributes to the opponent team's victories. Either James or Wells are 1000000000x better than that useless Jacksons.

Stop hating on McGrady. Every Rocket related thread, I see you trying to bash his game one way or another.

As an outside fan, you need to show some class. Tracy is one of the most talented players in the game. Look at the other ways he affects the game and his teammates.

he has to shoot, if he didn't have to shoot, he would pass all day because he is so unselfish.

36-94 shooting on a series is terrible.

If bobby jackson isn't shooting, he's useless. He's not hitting the shots but he has to shoot. :banghead:

Thats all frenchie is good for, hating

75% of his post are hating on TMac, CP3 or any Lakers players

Regarding Bobby Jackson, im guessing that what his coach is asking him to do; but i agree about trading Bonzy (who was playing well) for him. What the hell was that?

I agree that it was a bad trade because they gave up Bonzi, but Mike James is just the heir apparent to Jackson in Chuckdom anyway.

Tell us (all 5 of us) Grizz fans about it, we've had both "Machine Gun" Jackson and Chuck-It Upkins in our PG rotation before...

Tell me who else should be shooting? We don't have that many offensive options.

the refs robbed the Rockets last night, not Bobby Jacksons chucking. That game was officiated very poorly, it was disgusting to watch them hand the game to the Jazz. For me the theme of the playoffs have been the refs not letting teams play enough and sort of controlling the outcome of the game with the whistles.

some players impact a game with more than just shooting

i love how you ignore the rest of his game :noway:

on topic, yeah i was thinking about this last night, Bobby Jackson is more of a blackhole than Juwan Howard was
Notes: Rookie Rudy Gay twisted his left ankle trying to guard McGrady late in the third quarter and limped to the bench. He returned with 5:51 left, then returned to the bench about a minute later - http://www.nba.com/games/20061231/MEMHOU/recap.html

Christ. Do we have to infect ANOTHER thread with ref whining?
