Dallas needs a change

What could we get for Josh Howard and Jason Terry. Anyone but Dirk can be involved

We can't trade Josh right now; his value is too low. We are not in the business of selling low.

The best thing Dallas can hope for now is a great training cam and a good pickup with our MLE.

Should have asked New Jersey to include RJ and then sent out Howard in the J-Kidd trade.

No way in hell NJ does that now though.

Yeah, I mean why on earth would NJ trade for the better player? Completely ludicrous idea

Thank you! I like Stephen Jackson's competitive spirit. I would do it without the pick. It's a no blamer with the pick.

You havent seen Jackson play at the end of the season, have you? Just as bad, if not even worse than Josh. I keep Josh and wait for better deals.

Right I'm sorry, I mean who wouldn't want this genius on their team:

Josh Howard is a soft version of RJ, his contract is more reasonable but that's about all he has on Jefferson.

I'd definitely do the Jax for JHo trade for the Warriors.

Another variation where Dal could keep Howard could be Jax to Dal, Terry to the Clips, and Mobley and a 09 first to the Warriors.

Sorry for the delay, had some work to do.

Well, you now the offense of Don Nelson, Jackson has the green light to chuck up shots when he feels it. Problem was in crucial games at the end of the playoff hunt he was missing a lot of shots but kept on firing. We know how that feels, when you look at his game log for this season (http://www.basketball-reference.com/fc/pgl.cgi?player=jacksst02&year=2008) when Jackson had bad shooting nights GS lost a big chump of games also. Jackson is a captain of the GS team, so he takes over when the team is shooting bad. But his overall FG% dropped from .446 last year to .405 this year. (Josh .455)
That lead to Don actually limiting his minutes in the tough losses to PHX and Seattle, just like what Avery did with Josh, but Stack was even worse so...
Not few GS fans blame Jackson for not making the playoffs, after Don Nelson and not getting back on defense of course.

The deciding game:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 20DAL.html
Golden State Warriors 86, Dallas Mavericks 111
Josh lighting Jackson up for 28 points, two games after scoring 36 on him, and Jackson shooting 1-11 for 2 points. 2 points in one of the most important games of the season!

Josh>Jackson and its not even close, a late lottery pick isnt nearly the gap between the two. And then, i know its been used a lot, i rather take a pot smoker during offseason on my team than Jackson, who has much worse history. Punching fans and gunshooting being just the tip of the iceberg.

^Utah says "oh HELL no". No chance we trade Okur and Harpring for Curry and Crawford. (Orlando gets Okur awfully cheaply in your trade too.)

I have thought about a Kidd/JO swap myself, but I'm sure most mav fans won't like that. And I know they won't like Dampier for Tinsley/Harrison.
