Ellis is untouchable for Warriors. That was main reason they traded JRich last year - to create cap space for Ellis.

Duhon is a very realistic signing as back-up PG. Excellent defender & passer.

Agreed! Dude is perfect, if we can get him and Artest on the team somehow, that would solve a lot of problems.

I think I posted this before but I think the Suns will probably target Duhon and Quinton Ross. Maybe they will re-sign GG if he will take the vet min. I remember Gambo and Ash once said that they tried to trade for Duhon 2 years ago but the Bulls said no. They also said they tried last year but he was a RFA. Meanwhile, we tried to trade for Ross before the deadline this year.

A trade I'd like to see and would make some sense for Sacramento would actually be 2 trades......

1st: Send the Atlanta pick and Bell for Salmons and 2nd rd pick ----- draft day trade

2nd: Send Barbosa and Diaw for Udrih (S&T) and Artest (S&T) ----- After June 1st, Diaw and Barbosa come off BYC status

Then resign Skinner and Giricek with vet min and LLE, then go after Duhon and Joe Smith with the MLE.

Line-up:
Nash, Udrih, Duhon
Salmons, Hill, Strawberry
Artest, Giricek, Tucker
Amare, Smith
Shaq, Skinner

Why do you think Arenas is likely to be involved in a trade?

We are not adding anymore salary over the Min for an FA offer or trade. So, if your idea involves that (ie, S&T or MLE offer), forget it now.

You lost all credibility when you said you'd like to see Ricky Davis here.

They might play the same style but Ellis is far better and much more consistent.

I was thinking LB might be more adapted for the Warriors then Ellis since he is a 3 point threat and Elllis isn't.

Kind of depends who we get as coach, now that D'antoni is free to talk to other teams.

I'd love to see Pietrus here, and I think well of Hermman.
If Nash could work with DJ on his shooting, he could get some real minutes.

Ellis is a MUCH better dribble penetrator. Barbosa has trouble finishing near the rim if his shot is contested at all.

Ellis isn't a complete liability defensively either.

I agree just say no to Telfair. The last time we signed a promising young PG coming from Minnesota was Marcus Banks.

If we sign a PG, it should be Duhon.

I think Duhon and Salmons (LB trade) are really good targets for the current Suns.
