Which of te following coaches would you choose since many big names are out there. Nelson as one of the originators of small ball would fit in Phoenix as the window closes for the suns.

Nate Thurmond... as part of the carousel, Nellie can manage his BBQ joint... of course by March, the waiters will be midgets riding unicycles and the food won't taste as good... sure would be fun to watch though.

If he's still around next year, Coach Thibo from Boston would be a great choice.

Oh yeah Van Gundy would be fun to watch. Grind to a halt.

Monta would look so great walking it up for a whole season.....NOT!

I would kill for Nate McMillan.

I alsways liked Mario Ellie, but he got pushed out by Nellie's gang.

I still think Paul Silas is a good coach and I'd like to see him get another chance with us.

I haven't heard of the Ron harper

What about Michael Cooper?

Or Pat Summit

All of the coaching changes in the league will create a lot of player movement as a result.

of all the realistic options, i want nellie to come back one more season because i'm selfish and want to keep watching this talented but flaw squad but tremendously exciting (and depressing sometimes) team to play one more season. it's like a good movie so far, why not keep it for as long as we could, title be damn?

It's a trilogy...

Godfather I

Godfather II

2008-09 = Godfather III

Your last sentence says it all... I can't stand that thinking... maybe if I'd seen a title in my lifetime I'd say that... instead my basketball mind has been violated by gimmickball, Twardzik, St. Jean, Musselhead and Monty...

One great thing about the carousel though - if Baron and his problem child status are gone in 09, our coaching options are wide open... even w/Jax, so long as he behaves himself off the court.

If Nelson doesn't jump ship next year I bet he extends again to be the winningist coach in all time. He is 55 wins from passing Wilkins.

Mario and Kareem are the guys who have been shown the ropes of consistent winning organizations. Ron Harper has too, but cmon.

Wooden would not work for the basketall abortion that is the golden state warriors.

i was half-kidding in my last post, resigning to the fact that this is the most likely outcome unless Baron really doesn't come back, which will be a huge shock to me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Silas over in Alameda @ an Earth Day festival (4/19).

The dude is sharp. I have to believe he's not a gimmickball fan. And honestly, from what I heard, I wouldnt mind him becoming head coach eventually.
